The 2020 Pusan National University Summer School provides international students with an enriching cultural and educational experience. Each program consists of academic courses covering diverse subjects and various cultural activities, including field trips. Students can choose one session according to their schedules, preferences and academic goals.

Session A offers five-week intensive courses on academic subjects and Korean Studies includes Korean language, lecture for understanding Korean culture, fun cultural activities and field trips. Session A includes informing academic lectures which are three hours daily from Monday through Thursday and interesting cultural activities with field trips on Friday.

Please note that students must take a minimum of 6 credits in session A. As a result, most students will take a total of 2 courses while on this program. 

Credit equivalent 

3 Credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units if 6 Credits are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

All applicants must meet the UQ short-term experience eligibility criteria and the PNU entry requirements.

Tuition fees will be approximately $3,290 AUD. Accommodation and administration fees are included in this price. More information regarding program fees can be found on the host university website.

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Several $3,000 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants are available for eligible participants. Applicants will be notified by mid-May if they are eligible for travel grants and scholarships awarded by the Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your global experience.
