The 2020 NCCU International Summer School provides you with both intensive Mandarin Chinese learning and 8 academic courses in the fields of Management, Social Sciences and Humanities, focusing on the aspects of Taiwan, China, and East Asia.

Credit equivalent

4-week Chinese Language Study Program: 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units if the 4-week program is successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

4-week English-taught Program: 2 courses = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 4 UQ Units if 4 courses are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the standard Student Eligibility Criteria and the NCCU entry requirements. This program impacts on UQ semester 2, 2020 dates, UQ students must meet the additional special conditions for programs that impact on teaching dates.

Tuition is approximately $1,579 - $2,330 AUD. The price will vary depending on the combination of courses chosen.

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Applicants will be notified by mid-May if they are eligible for travel grants and scholarships awarded by the Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your global experience.
