The Summer 2021/22 LMU European Online Winter School will be offered virtually

The LMU European Studies Online Winter School program is hosted by Ludwig-Maximilians Universitat analyses Europe’s role as an international political and economic actor and its relations to different countries and regions of the world.

Participants will acquire expertise on both the EU's history, policy-making processes and policy priorities and discuss how decades of European governance, migration flows, recent crises, and the rise of populist parties impact on European citizens' identity formation, political mobilization and societal conflict.

Credit Equivalent

6 ECTS = 2 UQ units. Maximum of #2 UQ units if 6 ECTS are successfully completed (pending UQ Faculty approval). 

Eligibility and Application

All applicants must meet the short-term experience eligibility criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by LMU

Students will be selected via an internal UQ selection committee after the UQ deadline. Successful applicants will be nominated to LMU by UQ after the selection committee meeting following the application deadline and will be required to submit an online registration to the LMU directly.

The participation mode of this experience is ReciprocityTuition is paid to UQ. 

Funding

Applicants will be considered for only one grant per application round. Applicants are encouraged to review the Short-Term Experiences Funding information for further details.
