KU Leuven  Winter University is unlike any other. Immerse yourself in the world of sustainability in small, interactive, multidisciplinary classes. The Winter University programme offers credit-bearing courses and targets all advanced Bachelor's and Master's students with an interest in sustainability.

In this Winter University, you will work in multinational and multidisciplinary student teams to identify, elaborate on and formulate a possible strategy to deal with global challenges for a sustainable future.  The Winter University is aimed at graduate (Master's) students in Human Sciences ( e.g. Arts, Economics and Business, Social Sciences, and Theology and Religious Sciences) or from other disciplines, and with an interest in sustainability.  Undergraduate (Bachelor's) students in their final year are also welcome to apply.

Applicants are advised to submit 2-3 courses on their application for credit form for faculty assessment credit in case of course cancellation. 

Credit Equivalent

4-8 ECTS = 2 UQ units. Maximum of 2 UQ units if 4-8 ECTS are successfully completed (pending UQ Faculty approval).

Cost

The participation mode of this experience is Study Abroad. The program fee is approximately $1,070 AUD.

Accommodation

Accommodation is not included in the program fee. Participants are required to organise and book their own accommodation. Further information can be found on the host university website

You may also be eligible to submit an application for an OS-HELP loan if your program is for-credit and you are enrolled as a Commonwealth-supported student.
