The July 2021, IESEG International Summer Program will be offered virtually.

The IESEG International Summer Program offers you a unique opportunity to choose between four different programs focusing on Global Business & Management, Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing through social media and brand management, and Fashion Business, with leading IÉSEG faculty and industry professionals.

  • The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Summer Program provides students with access to classes, case discussions, and information about contemporary issues in entrepreneurship and innovation including new venture development, innovation ecosystems, business modelling, and global innovation management.
  • The Digital Marketing Summer Program provides students with knowledge of the basic skills required for digital marketing through social media and brand management. They will study all the key areas associated with digital marketing, including marketing, communication and strategy, positioning, as well as the current strategies behind managing a brand in today’s digital world.
  • The Fashion Business Summer Program combines theoretical study with hands-on experience from brands in the apparel industry. The course enables students to learn basic knowledge in all of the key areas associated with the fashion industry including brand development and positioning, marketing, distribution, advertising, and consumer behavior.
  • The International Summer Academy is a four-week unique opportunity for students to build critical business skills and study international Business and Management. Students can combine courses in different areas such as economics, marketing, management, and entrepreneurship..

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Summer Program 

  • Start Date: 05 July 2011
  • End Date: 16 July 2021
  • Credit: For-credit or not-for-credit
  • Equivalency: 6 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ units after successful completion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval).
Digital Marketing Summer Program 
  • Start Date: 05 July 2011
  • End Date: 16 July 2021
  • Credit: For-credit or not-for-credit
  • Equivalency: 6 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ units after successful completion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval).
Fashion Business Summer Program 
  • Start Date: 05 July 2011
  • End Date: 16 July 2021
  • Credit: For-credit or not-for-credit
  • Equivalency: 6 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ units after successful completion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval).
International Summer Academy
  • Start Date: 05 July 2011
  • End Date: 30 July 2021
  • Credit: For-credit only
  • Equivalency: 8-9 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ units after successful completion of experience (pending UQ faculty approval). Students must take courses from the 'Main courses' list totalling 64 hours.

Costs

The program fee is approximately $2,000 - $2,500 AUD. More information regarding program fees can be found on the host university website under each course.

Funding

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Applicants will be notified by mid-May (for winter programs) or late-October (for summer programs) if they are eligible for grants and scholarships awarded by the Internships and Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your experience.
