The 2-week Summer Session takes place in Paris, Angers and Bordeaux and offers a mix of classes, company and cultural visits.

The programme is taught entirely in English, by the regular ESSCA research staff and adjunct professors with the possibility of guest speakers and outings.

Credit Equivalent

7.5 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ units upon successful completion of 7.5 ECTS (pending UQ faculty approval).

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct visa for the country where you will be studying. As the Global Experiences team is not a visa-issuing authority we cannot provide visa advice.

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the standard UQ Student Eligibility Criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by ESSCA School of Management.

This is a competitive program and students must obtain credit in order to participate in this program. Students will be selected via an internal UQ selection committee.

Applicants must complete the standard Global Experiences application and include a personal statement as to why they wish to be selected.

Successful applicants will be nominated to ESSCA by UQ after the selection committee meeting after the application deadline.

Tuition fees are paid to UQ. 

A program fee of approximately 1900 euros is to be paid to ESSCA (accommodation, registration fee, administration fee, class activities and visits). More information regarding program fees can be found on the host university website.

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Applicants will be notified by mid-May if they are eligible for travel grants and scholarships awarded by the Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your global experience.
