Spend three weeks in Bangkok, with the CIS Australia July in Bangkok program. Choose to learn or improve your Thai language skills, or take a course in International Trade and Marketing or Contemporary Southeast Asia studies.

Credit equivalent 

4 credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units if 4 credits are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the short-term experience eligibility criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by CIS Australia. 

CIS Australia programs are highly competitive and fill up fast so be sure to get your application in as early as possible.

Program fees range from $6,499 - 6,799 AUD. More information regarding program fees can be found on the CIS Australia website. 

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding. Applicants will be notified by mid-May if they are eligible for travel grants and scholarships awarded by the Global Experiences Team. Please do not rely on this funding to support your global experience.
