The New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) is where you will spend your CIS Australia January in New York City program.

Spend 3 weeks in New York City for part of your summer University break! Credit Equivalent

3 Credits = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units if 3 credits are successfully completed (pending UQ faculty approval).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the standard UQ Abroad Student Eligibility Criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by CIS Australia. 

CIS Australia programs are highly competitive and fill up fast so be sure to get your application in as early as possible.

Costs

The program is between $5,999 - $7,599 AUD depending on accommodation preferences. More information regarding program fees can be found on the CIS Australia website.  

CISaustralia, the University of Queensland and NAB are offering two students a $1000 scholarship for the following January in New York program. All students who have applied for, been accepted into and paid a deposit for will be eligible. The scholarships will be awarded on 5 October 2018. To apply, see Terms and Conditions.

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding.
