Malaysia is not only Australia’s third-largest ASEAN trading partner, but it is also a quickly developing market economy and offers a unique environment in which to gain valuable international experience.

The CIS Austrlaia Internship in Malaysia provides you with a chance to gain high-quality professional work experience in the field of your choice. Equally important is the opportunity to take in all that Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia have to offer. Many business operations in Malaysia use English as the primary language, so you will get the benefits of an international internship without having to master a new language.

Experience

Kuala Lumpur (often abbreviated as KL) is the federal capital and most populous city in Malaysia. The city covers an area of 243 square km and has an estimated population of about 1.79 million in 2017. Greater Kuala Lumpur, also known as the Klang Valley, is an urban agglomeration of 7.25 million. It is among the fastest growing metropolitan regions in the country, in terms of population and economy.

With such a vastly growing economy, interns will have the chance to choose from a diverse range of opportunities and get to know what it’s like to work in this exciting region of Asia. Many business operations in Malaysia use English as the primary language, so you will get all the benefits of an international internship without having to learn a completely new language. Another great aspect to this progressive location is the diversity in population. Depending on your placement choice, you could be working with locals, tourists, migrants, expatriates or all of the above!
