On the volunteer Cambodia Health Promotion, you will spend 2 weeks working on a range of health promotion interventions aimed at improving awareness of key health issues in the community. You will be challenged to step out of your comfort zone and think creatively while being part of a long term solution to improving overall community health.

Experience

You will be volunteering with local community members including school children, teachers and parents to deliver health workshops focusing on important health topics like hygiene and sanitation, human anatomy and bodily function, diet and nutrition, girls and women’s health and non-communicable diseases. These workshops will play a big role in increasing the overall health of the community because families will receive the knowledge they need to keep themselves and their families healthy.

You can find out more about the Thailand Health Promotion program by visiting the Challenges Abroad website.
