The Amsterdam Summer School offers interactive small-scale courses designed to provide an intensive, in-depth look at your topic of study.

In a class with a maximum of 25 students, you will engage in discussions with a unique group of peers, from all parts of the world.

Credit Equivalent

6 ECTS = 2 UQ Units. Maximum of 2 UQ Units upon successful completion of 6 ECTS across blocks 1 and 2 (pending UQ faculty approval - see Courses tab for more information).

Eligibility and application

All applicants must meet the standard UQ Abroad Student Eligibility Criteria and any additional eligibility criteria set by VU international.

Block 2 impacts on UQ semester 2, 2018 dates, UQ students must meet the additional special conditions for programs that impact on teaching dates.

Program tuition varies per course and is approximately $1,560 - 1,800 AUD per course. More information regarding program fees can be found on the VU international website. UQ students may be eligible for a program discount. 

Applicants may also be eligible for UQ-specific funding
