Bonita - 2019

I had always wanted to go on a global experience, however commitments during the term made studying overseas for six months unfeasible. Luckily, I discovered that UQ abroad offers the chance to attend Cambridge University’s International Summer School, which takes place during Australia’s winter holiday.

William - 2019

I've always wanted to go on an exchange for my degree, however a 6-month one wasn't really possible for me. I have had many friends return from exchange and say that they have had great experiences, including the awesome friends that you meet and experiencing the culture in a different continent. A short term experience was perfect as I didn't have to leave for a very long time and was able to fit it into my degree

Benedict - 2018

The reason I chose the Cambridge Summer Sciences Programme was not only the fact that is was run by Cambridge, but you get to choose a broad variety of topics, all taught by some of the leading researchers in their fields.

The best part was that the programme is not open just to undergrads but also people who have already graduated, some of whom are experts in their own fields.

Nicole - 2017

I was motivated to participate in this program because of the excellent academic reputation of Cambridge University and my keen interest in all things science. The program itself provided me with numerous opportunities to interact with world-renowned academics, learn about different areas of science and explore the many museums and labs within the University.

In addition, living in the picturesque Newnham College allowed me to build lifelong friendships with other students from all around the world.
